**WHEN SIGNING UP: whichever day and time you pick for camp on the week of September 18th will be your set day and time for the rest of the semester** - BAT Camp is scheduled for 12 weeks this Spring semester, beginning the week of September 18th and ending the week of December 8th. Objectives: 1) Expose kids to a wide array of sports and games 2) Get kids active and outside 3) Encourage a competitive spirit while also teaching sportsmanship 4) Help socialize kids with their Park Cities peers What is BAT Camp: At BAT Camp we choose from a diverse catalogue of games each week to ensure that each child receives a well-rounded athletic experience. We make sure to play at least two different games in each camp session, if not three, and there are never repeated camp games in back-to-back sessions. Below are all the games we choose from: 1) Team Sports • Soccer • Football • Wiffle Ball (baseball with wiffle balls and wiffle bats) • Kickball • Dodgeball • Capture the Flag • Newcomb (variation of volleyball) • Time Bomb (variation of kickball) • Tug of War • Flag Grab (variation of sharks and minnows) • Relay races • Kickers and Goalies (variation of soccer) 2) Partner Sports • Cops and Robbers • Dodgers and Runners (variation of dodgeball) • Noodle Freeze Tag (freeze tag using pool noodles) • Survivor (variation of freeze tag) • Noodle Attack (combination of dodgeball and freeze tag) 3) Individual Sports • Sharks and Minnows • Noodle Goose (variation of duck-duck-goose) • Zombie (variation of tag) • SPUD • Flag Alley (a non-contact football drill) • Jackpot • Plummet-ball (variation of jackpot) Logistics: - Camp sizes range from 8-25 kids within the same age group. - Each camp is one hour in length. - All camps will recur on the same day and time, as well as at the same park location, each week. - Each camp group will be put in a group text for necessary communication purposes. - Camp will happen each week, rain or shine. If the UP parks are closed on any given day, we will move camp that day to Preston Hollow Park. - There are no refunds for missed camp days.
